1. How affiliate links work
Gangway curates and compares boat listings and then links visitors to an external booking platform or operator. Some of those links contain tracking information supplied through an affiliate network. If you follow a tracked link and complete a qualifying transaction, GoGangway.com may receive a commission.
There is no charge to use Gangway. Any price, service fee or booking condition presented at checkout is controlled by the external provider, not by Gangway.
2. What commission does and does not mean
- Gangway is not the boat owner, rental operator, seller, payment provider or contracting party.
- The external provider is responsible for live availability, the final price, booking acceptance, payment, cancellation and refunds.
- Gangway does not currently rank boats according to the commission amount paid for a listing.
- Affiliate relationships do not replace your need to check the provider's full offer and terms before booking.
3. How we select and present boats
Our public inventory is selected from monetised supplier listings and enriched with structured information such as capacity, location, images, seasonal prices, equipment and known extras. Listings must pass internal quality and publication checks before they are shown as curated inventory.
Recommendations and rankings use trip preferences, listing relevance, suitability and available quality data. They do not guarantee availability or suitability, and final details must always be confirmed with the external provider.
4. Affiliate measurement
When you choose an external availability link, Gangway records the selected listing, page path, referring page, browser user-agent and time. The affiliate network and destination provider may also receive tracking parameters needed to attribute a qualifying transaction. See the privacy policy for more information.
