1. About these terms
GoGangway.com is operated by Thomas Barrie, a sole trader in Spain, trading as GoGangway.com. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Gangway for booking-related decisions or to follow a booking link.
2. What Gangway provides
Gangway provides curated boat discovery, filters, trip matching, shortlists, editorial descriptions, estimated price information and links to external booking platforms or boat operators. It is an information and referral service, not a boat owner, charter operator, travel agent, booking platform or payment provider.
Gangway does not take bookings or payments and is not a party to the boat-rental, charter or related services contract.
3. External bookings
When you select an availability or booking link, you leave Gangway and deal directly with the external platform or operator. That provider's identity, terms, privacy policy and booking conditions apply to your transaction.
- The external provider controls live availability, eligibility, deposits, insurance, licences, captain requirements and final acceptance.
- The external provider controls final prices, taxes, service fees, mandatory or optional extras, payment, cancellation, refunds and complaints about the rental.
- Questions about an existing reservation must be directed to the provider named in the booking confirmation.
4. Prices, availability and listing information
Gangway combines supplier listing information with structured details collected from public listing pages. We work to make pricing and mandatory extras easier to understand, but information can change between collection, display and checkout.
Prices labelled “from”, estimates and per-person calculations are comparison aids. They may depend on dates, duration, group size, season, captain arrangements, fuel, cleaning, deposits and other services. Always verify the complete price, inclusions, availability and conditions with the external provider before booking.
Images, descriptions, reviews and specifications originate partly from third-party listings. Gangway may edit or translate text for clarity without changing the underlying offer. We cannot guarantee that every third-party detail is complete, current or error-free.
5. Matches, rankings and shortlists
Search results and recommendations are generated from the preferences you provide and the listing data available to us. They are suggestions, not professional advice or a guarantee that a boat is suitable, safe, lawful or available for your intended use.
You are responsible for checking passenger limits, accessibility, licences, navigation area, weather suitability, safety equipment and any captain or experience requirements with the provider.
6. Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links are affiliate links. Gangway may receive a commission if you follow one and complete a qualifying transaction. This does not make Gangway the seller or contracting party. Read our affiliate disclosure for more detail.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that harms another person;
- attempt to bypass security, interfere with operation or introduce malicious code;
- scrape, copy or systematically extract the site, database or listings without written permission;
- misrepresent Gangway content, remove attribution or use the brand in a misleading way;
- use automated traffic that imposes an unreasonable load on the service or its providers.
8. Content and intellectual property
The Gangway brand, site design, software, original editorial content, selection and organisation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party boat images, trademarks, reviews and supplier materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used to identify and describe the linked offers.
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial trip planning. No broader licence is granted.
9. Site availability and changes
We may correct content, change features, suspend pages or withdraw listings without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may block access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or legal rights.
10. Responsibility and liability
Gangway remains responsible for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited.
To the extent permitted by law, Gangway is not responsible for the acts, omissions, boats, services, availability, cancellations, safety decisions or contractual performance of an external platform, operator or owner. We are also not responsible for losses caused by relying on third-party information that you could reasonably verify at checkout.
11. Spanish law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights that apply in your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact info@gogangway.com so we can try to resolve the matter.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point.
