Ses Illetes is the scene people imagine when they book a Formentera boat day: fine pale sand, low dunes and shallow water that shifts through clear blue and turquoise. Swim from the boat, float in the warm shallows and take in the beach from the quieter perspective of the sea.
Continue along the narrow northern peninsula of Es Trucadors, where Formentera tapers toward S'Espalmador and the sea frames both sides of the sand. It is a beautiful stretch for a slow cruise, photographs and a second swim chosen by the captain in the best water of the day.
