Local route guide
The experience
A shorter charter can stay close to Split, viewing the green Marjan peninsula from the sea and using coves around Ciovo or the nearby coast for swimming. It will not deliver the remote-island feeling of Hvar, but it avoids a long high-speed transfer and works well after a late arrival or for families unsure about a full day. Ask the operator to choose the calmest local stops rather than promising a famous beach far away.
Use these as the shape of the day, with enough time at each stop to swim, relax and enjoy being there.
See Split's green Marjan peninsula from the water, with wooded slopes, rocky edges and the city opening behind the boat. It gives even a short charter a strong sense of leaving land behind.
Cross toward Ciovo for the main swim of the trip. The skipper can choose a clear, comfortable bay where the group has time to snorkel and relax rather than spending the half day in transit.
Finish in a sheltered local anchorage close enough to enjoy every remaining minute. It is the ideal moment for fruit, drinks and one last jump before an easy return to the marina.
